Dear Parents,
Welcome back to school! For those of you who are unfamiliar with us, we are a volunteer group made up of parents, teachers, administrators, and support staff who are all dedicated to the successful education of our students. The PTO works hard to help make the school year both enjoyable and exciting for students, teachers, and parents alike! The purpose of our organization is to aid the students and staff by providing support for educational and recreational needs; as well as school spirit and pride. The PTO uses its resources to support all the efforts of the staff of our school.
Heather Townsend and Kristina Conidi are the new Co-Presidents of the Wentham PTO! We want to thank Katelyn Clough and Erin Greaney for all of their years as Co-Presidents and all they have done for the schools! We look forward to meeting with other parents, families and beyond that would like to get involved with our PTO this school year. Everything we do is based on volunteers. Please consider joining us at a PTO meeting to discuss events, help plan a fundraiser to enhance our school, or to share any ideas! Attending a meeting does not mean you have to help.
You can volunteer as much or as little as you are able. There are so many ways to help and many can be done right from home. No need to be at every event or meeting to be involved! And we do not collect yearly dues. We want to build comoardary with each other and have an avenue to connect with each other.
Throughout the year the PTO sponsors a variety of fun events and fundraisers. We are looking to bring back a lot of the oldies as well! Some of these include the Fall Fundraiser, Trunk-O-Treat, Spring Scholastic Book Fair, Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week, Special someone events, Grade 6 yearbook and much more!
We provide a lot of assistance to the school throughout the year, including:

-
New teacher set up of $100 per teacher
-
Purchase agendas for all Roderick grades yearly
-
Purchase lanyards for incoming preschool and Kindergarten students
-
Purchase Wrentham Wildcat folders for all students
-
Teacher appreciation events that happen throughout the year
-
Playground equipment
-
Donations for snack and waters for MCAS
-
Ice cream truck for 6th grade graduation
Our Team

Heather Townsend
Co-President
My name is Heather Townsend and I am so excited be a Co-President of the Wrentham PTO alongside Kristina! We are looking forward to a great year and hope to have all parents involved in the PTO. I served on the PTO Board in my former town before moving to Wrentham, and I am also involved with the King Philip Middle School PTSO. Last year Kristina and I organized the Staff Appreciation week and loved seeing all the community support to make t all happen. I have five children in the public school system (Annie and Forrest in pre-school, Alice in 4th grade, Amelia in 5th grade, and Adeline in 8th grade) and absolutely love living in this community. I have been a college professor at the Community College of Rhode Island for the past 16 years and enjoy being in the education field. I hope to meet you all soon!

Kristina Conidi
Co-President
My name is Kristina Conidi and I am excited to be working with Heather as Co-President this year. We have a lot of great events planned and hope you will join us.
My husband John and I moved from Plainville to Wrentham in the Fall of 2021. We have 2 kids in the elementary schools, Olivia who is 10 and in 5th grade at the Roderick and Luca who is 8 and in 3rd grade at the Delaney. I work in Finance for a medical device company and when I’m not working or busy with PTO events I’m shuttling my kids to their various sports practices and games.
Before moving to Wrentham, I was an active volunteer with the Plainville PTO. My favorite events were the annual Holiday Boutique, annual auction and staff appreciation week to name a few.
I’m looking forward to a great year for our teachers, staff and kids and being able to meet and connect with new parents in our amazing community.
